Fabricator explains why he chose an American-made stone router

Chris Hildebrand, owner of Affordable Quality Marble and Granite, explains why American-made matters when it comes to stone routers.

I’ve got both Italian machines and American machines.

There are some things the Italians are better at, but the case of being able to get parts and have parts local is a stronger case than dealing with somebody out of the country.

Like, right now, if I had to order a motor for my saw, it takes two to three weeks to get a saw in, if I need something for the PALADIN, I’ve got it the next morning.

Italians don’t understand American production, they’re a laid back type of people and it’s hard to deal with that.
